Unpopular Opinion on “Nazis”
Every time I doomscroll on social media, I see post on how there’s all these Nazis hanging around the place. It’s apparently so prevalent that I’m half expecting Adolf to to be hiding in an ally, lobbing copies of Mein Kampf at passers by.
If social media is to be believed, Nazis are everywhere.
But here’s the thing, I think these people claiming that a person is a “Nazi” are actually talking about “a person that I don’t like.”
Are these people running about the gaff committing atrocities, like murdering millions of innocent Jews? Fuck, have they murdered a single innocent Jew? Probably not.
Are these people you dislike dickheads? Maybe. Are they right-wing idiots with an inflated sense of self? Probably. 🤷♂️
But they're absolutely not Nazis. Please stop calling them that, because I have news for you; it makes you sound like an utter, utter plonker.
